25e conférence biennale de l'Association for Canadian Studies in the United States (ACSUS)
The Association for Canadian Studies in the United States, established in 1971, is the foremost multidisciplinary American based academic association committed to the promotion and advancement of teaching, research, scholarship, and professional outreach on Canada. Our biennial conference delivers a convivial and first quality academic experience in showcasing original, significant research on a wide variety of topics that directly engage Canada. Our 2019 biennial conference venue is the Hotel Omni Mont-Royal on bustling Sherbrooke Street West; the hotel dominates Montreal’s Golden Square Mile historical district, and is situated across from McGill University. Montreal, which stands as one of North America’s premier metropolitan centers, is a vibrant and engaging metropolis offering a broad range of unrivaled cultural and social experiences. As the enclosed program illustrates, our 2019 conference promises to be an especially rich experience. With over 250 participants, our proceedings will feature an exceptional range of scholarly panels, roundtables, plenary sessions, receptions, keynote speakers, and special artistic performances. We are very pleased that the ACSUS 2019 conference is supported by some 25 sponsors and exhibitors from across the United States and Canada. We encourage you to visit our exhibit area as your schedule permits.
